stick/spider looking thing????

Sorry to say, it is impossible to tell from this description. Any pics?
There are things called "sea spiders" (google pycnogonids) but they are not common. But I don't understand the "stick/spider" part.

That is an AWESOME pic...... but it's not a good critter to have. That is indeed a "Sea Spider" and a predator of zoanthids.

The first thing I did was look at where they were from. Sometimes I feel like I'm too much of an inconvenience. But the first thing I thought was "OMG! I want it." I've only had the short stubby legged ones. That one is like mega awesome.
I know.... I'm probably only one of the few that squeals with delight when they find something bad in their tank.

it's actually not even an inch long........what does it do to zoeanthids? it can't eat much it has a very hard stick body! can you elaborate for me? please? thanks

It is very cool - not a particularly common critter. It is a pycnogonid or "sea spider" though not a real spider. To be honest, the sort of thing that would be pretty cool to set up a pico for...not all for sure are zoanthid predators but they are predators of small inverts.
