Stocklist Issues

I have a 30 Gallon FOWLR aquarium in my office. The only inhabitants include a Sixline Wrasse, Falco Hawkfish, and a blue green chromis. all get along fairly well. I have been wanting to add another fish to the aquarium, yet when I do, The hawk and wrasse become extremely aggressive towards the new fish. Do I buy a fish that will hold its own? what would be some good choices?
any help is much appreciated thanks! :)

Usually, you just have to decide if it is true 'aggression" or just normal pecking order stuff. However, you have (IMO) 2 semi-aggressive fish in a small tank and I doubt they will share their territory and play nice. I would be tempted (maybe foolishly) to try a big female clown; like a maroon or tomato. They are tough and aggressive, but will often fit in. She may claim the whole tank though. Stocking an established small tank is really tough.

I've heard several people that have issues like this rearrange the rockscape so territories are destroyed. Then add in the new fish. This way they all get a fiar shake at picking thier new spots.
I dunno if this works or not, but I've read it several times

first of all the hawk is recommended to NOT be in a tank smaller than a 40G...the 6line is pushing it in the 30...and the pseudo are also semi-aggressive
I think you are gonna have some FISH-WARS on your hand
I think you should decide what you want for that tank....get rid of 2 (hawk) of the aggressors, and research a little more before you put them in there

She wasn’t being the tank police Mr. sensitive. She was telling you that the fish you have isn’t a good choice for the size tank. That they will fight and it would be better to decide what fish you really like and start over after doing a little research on what will do well in that tank.
16 posts and you decided to be a butt head to the nicest person on the site. So APPOLOGIZE
already.

If you choose not to take the waring you are the one who is going to be disappointed with your stock in your tank. If you didnt want to take suggestions from people why did you ask for them in the first place??
