That can happen (I have neard) if the sump end of the drain is below the water level in the sump. Try moving the drain above the water level and see if the gurgle/flusihgn action stops.

+1 Pipe below water level can cause back pressure.

Well, idk if they are all different, but in my sump the end of the drain that connects to the overflow is at the top of the sump. I know there are other options to fix the noise (dursa standpipe), but I feel like the overflow isn't set up correctly.
