Diamond audios subs were nice...Someone i know had 2 10's each with 1000w put to them...
Needless to say they pounded better than most 12's
Most of the time this is becuase 12's need more power to sound nice and no one ponies up the extra $$$ for the amps.
I agree though the JL's are teh best!

true that i think they might get a lil annoyed from the vibrations but you dont have to worry about the tank shattering.

I scared the crap out of a field of cows a few days ago, I thought that was hysterical. I doubt if the farmer would have seen the humor in it though.

I have a buddy that is a certified installer and he swears by JL Audio. He knows his sh*t. He also likes kicker. I have a 12'' square L7 kicker in my car. It's a 1000 watt sub. I also have a 1000 watt memphis amp pushin the sub. It's so loud it feels like it's breathin for you. I usually only run it with the amp half way up. I heard somewhere the guy with the loudest single sub has a kicker L7. I love it! One of those two for sure.
