90 gal. (4 ft long), wet/dry filter for 100 gal, approx 80 lbs of live rock. tank up for about 8 mths, water conditions have been perfect (i have to test again tonight and do a water change). I change about a 10 gal every 3 weeks or so. Oh lighting 4 ft coral life hood with 4 24" power compacts 2 white/2 blue.
FISH:
2 ocellaris clowns
1 yellow tang (approx 2.5")
1 hippo tang (quarter sized)
1 tomini tang (approx 2.5")
1 blackcap gramma
1 neon goby
Inverts:
1 cleaner shimp
1 arrow crab
3-4 emerald crabs
fair amount of assorted hermits and astrea snails
Now I obviously don't want an other tang, I was thinking maybe a wrasse but unsure. I want to get some red or something in this tank. Can any one give a good suggestion?
Oh forgot to add i do have a few corals and want to get a few more so i want to stay away for coral nipping angels or butterflys please.

What order did you introduce your tangs in?
Also, the tang police may be after you for so many in a 90gal...

I've had the yellow and the longest; 2 years he was in a 46 bow front for a while. the tomini tang i got in early may and the hippo i've had a month or so. but i had a different rough looking hippo that i rescued a guy that didn't take care of his tank and nursed him back to good health and just gave him to a friend recently. I was very causious with acclimating though, different tang species can be agreesive toward each other at first. I had no squabiling.
Tang Police nice. Not interested with what they say, I like my tank just fine. Only looking for suggestions to the question i posted.

I don't have any experiance with wrasses so maybe someone else can chime in on those but if you want something red you could do a flame hawkfish, i have a spotted one and they're very personable fish. something else colorful a purple psuedochromis. any of those sound any good? let us know what you decide to go with. :)

A flame angel should do well, if you have plenty of mature LR--they're about as red as you can get. Large wrasse can be quite aggressive and/or intimidating with smaller fish and I wouldn't put one in a 4' tank---they are incredibly active. A Fairy or Flasher wrasse ( a pair, if you can find one) should be fine.

I don't have any problem with multiple tangs (i've just noticed on here how some people get pushy about the tang issue). I just got my 2nd and I also have a 90gal.
I have a 6 line wrasse. It is extremely active - jetting in and out of the rockwork. But they are pink, blue, green colored. I wanted a fairy wrasse, but decided against it because I didn't want to worry about aggression.

i also think you should get a flame hawkfish. im getting one because it has a real cool red color and is very personable. i've seen videos of it watching you with its eyes and following the camera around.

I've read flame hawks eat shimp, and i had a flame angel i had to get rid of because he was nipping at my zoes. I feed mysis shrimp once a day does anyone think my cleaner shrip will remain safe if i go with a flame hawk???

i've heard it always a risk with them. i heard a story of a cleaner cleaning the inside of a flame hawks mouth with no problems and also one where the hawk ate all the shrimp right away. i think if your shrimp is fairly big it will be ok and maybe if you keep it well fed it will be less likely to eat your cleaner. IMO...i would go for it

I had one .. VERY entertaining. Mine always did loop-de-loo's when he felt good across the cc bed in the front of the tank.

There were cool blue spots in his fins and his eyes were always shifting around in circles.

i was doing research on the red spotted sandperch. there really isnt that much info about them but i read a few different places that once it gets big enough it will eat smaller fish and shrimp. i dont know if this is true or not though. does anybody know if this is true, cause i might add one to my tank too. cause it flips and seems like a pretty cool fish from what meowzer and dani said.

I have never heard that. I am looking in my book now
max size 5" ...it says larger specimens MAY attack smaller ornamental shrimps, and they MAY harass smaller fish
BUT ....Mine is a good size, it doesn't "attack" anything, but I have good size fish. I do have a yellow clown goby, and I have seen them near eachother w/o any issue.
I thin, with anything that is bigger...there is always the possibility of them going after the smaller things.
BUT like I said...mine has not

then im sure my cleaner will be safe since its pretty big. and your right about bigger fish, and how theres always the possibility of them going after smaller ones. i think i might get one of these guys cause they seem pretty neat.

LOL look at my picture above. The cleaner is "cleaning: the sandperch. My sandperch is probably a good 4" too
