I think my biggest problem as of right now, is the sump
tank. I have the tank on hold right now at my LFS but the thing is, I
have a canister filter which is a good one but usually for sump tanks, one
would use a filter that is inside of it, in water. I want the sump tank
for various items such as; heater, skimmer, filtration, etc. Thing is, I have a
glass tank and unless I drill a hole in the back of the display tank, I
will need a over flow tank attached to the display tank and have a suction
hose going from that to the sump and then from sump to display. Should I
try to avoid the procedure of having a overflow tank and get a hole
drilled into the back of my tank? what are your thoughts on this? and
what are your thoughts on having a canister filter and no filter in the
sump tank. thanks for all your help
