Super Glue

Would it be ok to superglue my handle back on the top glass the chemicals wont poison my tank if it dries good before i put it back.

I have a question on this same subject. Can you really use super glue gel in a tank in water to glue corals to rock etc?

Pate- what handle are you talking about?
Beck- yes you can use superglue to glue corals in your tank.

well on top of the glass was a small clear plastic piece you grab to lift up the front of the glass hood

usually those slide onto the front piece of glass, was yours glued on? It will be fine to use superglue to glue it back on.
I just wanted to be sure you were not talking about the center brace of the tank (in case your tank had one), can't superglue that back on, and it is bad news if it breaks.

Mine is a all glass top, it has a smaller opening in the front you pick up on to access the tank and the back glass stays stationary. it is hinged very nice but the little handle on top had that sticky glue like stuff and it wore out and the little handle came loose, its a marineland.

Birdy, it wont hurt the water chemistry? It dries even if it is in water?
