The article disputes the fact that skimmers remove any more salt than is contained in the water itself. In other words it will not remove in excess of 35ppt if your water only contains 35ppt. Also the article does not say anything about ONLY removing dissolved organic carbon, it states "in so doing removes the (organic) carbon". Also this was not intended to be be a post by me against scrubbers so I am not sure where you are going with this.
Please show me your information that says wet skimming removes salt in excess of the amount contained in the water it removes.

I must have read the article wrong. You're right Spanko. :D
We'll save a scrubber/skimmer thread some other time. I'll try to stick to the original purpose of this thread.
