I downloaded the Adware Remover 7.2 and it detected 356 spyware components. Unfortunately you have to register it to actually remove these things from the system.

Search kazaa or something and "find it by accident"

I didnt realize I ran some many programs, but these have worked for me and all were free. I never got pop ups while on SWF though, even before I downloaded these. Here goes
pop up stopper
spybot I used this before I downloaded the next one.
Ad aware , look for the 6.0 version--I know that one is free since I run it. And go thru the tutorial or set up section if you decide to use it.
Ad aware will get all or next to all of the spyware out, but I still back it up with spybot once a week (ususally spybot comes up clean now due to ad aware). These you will have to manually do, but the program will set up icons on the desktop to find easily. HTH. :)

I have to admit that I have never had a problem with popups until today. For some reason I started to get all kinds of pupup adds today. I went to spybot and ran a few scans, now I seem to not be having any problems.
The question is what site did I get them from? I have no idea but spybot so far seems to have worked for me. I plan to donate to the cause tomorrow.
