Oh, yay, new stuff!!
That horn coral looks like it's gonna be BEAUTIFUL. I'd love to get one, but they're not seahorse safe. More's the pity.

I really can't wait to see the scroll when it opens up, either.
Where did SWF get the red goniopora from? Is it an ORA piece or is someone else fragging gonis these days?

They're very aggressive, have long tentacles for an SPS, and pack a sting.

See that 2nd picture...That is as much as I could get my sun coral to come out. It did not come out at night either...it never fully bloomed. I had it about 4 months before it starved and died. I have been very reluctant to purchase another one.
I love the scroll coral and I think when I begin my coral purchase next month I will get me one. The horn coral looks great too.

Yeah I always wondered why also -- they're threat level "3" on the horse chart. When I talked to my LFS coral guru he said he can't keep horn coral close to ANYthing else in his tank because it has surprisingly long tentacles from time to time. The doctor's place also notes its aggressive nature. Between those three sources I figure it's safer to just keep it the heck out of my horse tank.

YAYYYYY...the jawfish finally came out to eat.....The twinspot hog has been a very active piglet from day 1.....the rainford goby a little skiddish, but has also come out more....and the jawfish was MIA (well I knew where it was) until today when it actually came out into the opening to eat YAYYYY
LUV.....NO, the scroll has not fully opened yet I can see bumps, BUT the polyps have not come out all the way.....I am hoping it will soon

and the chili in the 29G......has not bloomed yet either...even at night

I am really enjoying watching the fish in the qt......I realize the main benefit is not for viewing pleasure....LOL....BUT....They are coming out more and more....and in a full reef tank they could stay hidden for a long time
even the jawfish is coming out from under the log other times beside feeding time.....they all look really healthy too

Well the fish will be in qt 2 weeks tomorrow.....all 3 are looking very healthy, so I am considering moving them to their new homes tomorrow when I get home from work.....they are going in 3 different tanks.....LOL.....I hope they don't miss each other
then I will look for the lemon peel angel for the 54G.....and not sure what else

OK...after acclimation from qt...to....dt's......they are all in their new homes.....hiding of course we shall see how long it takes for them to come out
now I will do a w/c in the qt and get it ready for the lemonpeel that is going to arrive this afternoon (OH and a purple firefish)
