So I noticed a strange creature in my tank last night. It looked like some kinda of worm. It was approx. 1-1.25 inches in length. white. probably as thick as a toothpick. I wanted to get a pic but this thing was flying around the tank. It would shoot out of the liverock swim very fast around the tank a bit and then go back. Anyone have anyideas on what this could be?

Not sure. I googled the epitoke and my worm really doesnt look anything like those. Also it seemed like they were saying that this worm stays very very small, 1mm. where my worm is more like an inch. hmmm..... anybody know any way to catch/lure a worm into a trap? thanks everyone.

Epitokes are the breeding stage for many species of Bristleworms. The size varies by species from microscopic up to over a foot.

I had these, and was really hoping they were baby featherduster worms. Now Im
ing pissed. I dont like bristleworms after I found my first one by surprise, and took its side to my finger.
