IM NOT SURE WHAT ELSE I WOULD WISH FOR. I COULD SAY BETTER PRICES BUT THAT SEEMS A CONTRADICTION TO THE ABOVE STATED BECAUSE I IMAGINE THAT BETTER COLLECTION COULD BE MADE WITH BETTER EQUIPMENT AND PEOPLE THAT ARE PAYED MORE SO THAT THEY MIGHT GIVE A ..........

1)A nationwide frag swap program that networked dedicated reefers who were only interested in swapping frags with each other. 1 for 1 type format.
2)A full color book of corals of the world and I'm talking about a book that listed each coral with several photographs (ie..page for superman montipora, page for Sunset Montipora, page for Rainbow Montipora etc..) Along with photos, each page (s) would include known history - scientific info such as toxicity or safeguards - Feeding requirements - Ideal lighting quidelines - proper fragging or growing techniques
3)A major Aquarium in every city along with research programs.

17. What is your favorite tank shape? (rectangle, bowfront, cube, corner, other?)
I love the cubes, but a regular ol’ rectangle is fine, too.
18. What was the biggest mistake you've made reef keeping?
Not getting a bigger tank to begin with!
19. What was the best decision you've made reef keeping?
To get into it, initially, of course!
20. What is your favorite part or aspect of reef keeping?
The fulfillment and accomplishment I feel when I look at my own little “piece of the ocean.”
21. What is your least liked part or aspect of reef keeping?
Algae! (Unless it’s corraline.)
22. Looking back, if you could change something you did in the past, what would it be?
I would have gotten a bigger tank, but otherwise, nothing too horrible has happened and I am happy with the way things have progressed.
23. What piece of advice would you give a newbie entering reef keeping?
1.) Patience is a prerequisite. 2.) Go and buy “The Conscientious Marine Aquarist” by Fenner. Some things may be outdated, but it’s still a fantastic “newbie” book. 3.) Take everything a LFS says with a grain of salt. 4.) Ask questions, here and on other reputable fish boards; we won’t steer you wrong. 5.) No, you cannot put a Tang in anything less than a 75 ;-) 6.) Do NOT buy any fish, inverts or coral without researching their diet and care first, otherwise you may find that you have just gotten yourself into trouble. 7.) Whatever your initial thought of size for a tank is, double it. Trust me, you WILL want to upgrade! 8.) Have fun!
24. Looking to the future, what is your outlook on the reef keeping hobby as a whole?
The more responsible reef-keepers out there, the better. Whenever I get a chance, I talk about my tank and about the hobby in general. One person may not always be able to “change the world,” but a group of people can, and I believe WE can.
25. If you had 3 wishes that could only be used with respect to the hobby of reef keeping, what would they be?
1.) More aquacultured corals as well as tank-raised fish and inverts. 2.) More focus on the disintegration of natural coral reefs. 3.) More responsible people in the hobby!
