Talk about a bad call

Im glad they didnt reverse the call. Human error is what makes sports so pure and true. On Both sides of the ball. Without slow mo reply or any cameras back in the 20s the call would had been over and done with. It was a bad call. They happen. Just look at the tuck rule in the NFL the what ifs have been talked about for years.

100%
.
That said, I do like instant replay in the NFL because the style of play is different.

AHHH...there has to be some room for technology in this....replay abilities is part of what we are today.....I do not think we should go CRAZY with it.....BUT in some cases I think it is a valuable thing to have

Yeah but the guy deserves the perfect game. Although I gotta say there has been 2 no hitters already this year and I couldn't tell you who pitched them. This guy is going to be well remembered. That vette might not amount to jack compared to a nice endorsement deal or two.

It wasnt just a no hitter. It was a perfect game or would had been. That is much much harder to do. 27 up 27 out. No walks no hit batters. Nadda. Again you change the call the record books change. We have UMPS for a reason. They get probably 98% of the calls correct.

Nah, all that stang would see is a quad set of round taillights disappearing into the horzion.

dont be so quick to say that. The new stang is one badass car. They already have one in the 10's in the qtr mile with not much done. That new 5.0 motor is putting down some serious numbers.

Then you take away from the sports and the way they have been called forever.

Yea, it's about time Ford joined the factory 400hp club.
As far as the pony cars go, yea the Mustang GT 5.0 is definitely better performance wise then the Camaro SS or the Challenger SRT8. The Camaro has a better quality ********, and more solid chassis (at the cost of extra weight), the Challenger is the best highway cruiser, but has a really cheap ********.
I can't wait for the 556hp Camaro Z/28 vs. Shelby mustang matchup

Though either way, it's definitely not the same class as a Vette. Simple math on that one, 2 seats vs. 4 seats.

I think as disappointing as this is, Galarraga will have more fame for this call. This would have been the 3rd perfect game in a year?? This isn't about the perfect game in the end. Its about class, and imperfection. Umpire, player and fans showed huge amounts of class after this. I wouldn't take any professional baseball umpires position anywhere, anytime. So much going on in a split second.

Gads the new V6 stang is 305 horsepower. I am thinking the wife needs one of them. Cheap insurance, good gas mileage and I have no doubt there will be some add ons available pretty quick.
As far as the game Galarraga has been Berry, Berry Good to baseball.
