WOW!!!!!
GREAT PICS KIP!!
Tank looks awsome! You're really taking great care of it. Squamosa looks cool too.
Have fun taking that naso out tomorrow. If it gives you problems, give me a call and I'll shoot up there. It's only like a 2 hour drive.

I gotta see what's on the agenda. Hopefully I can make it up. Definitely next weekend though if that's cool- I have to go up to Gboro and finish up a few things.
Good luck with the naso.

yeah - Mike is a pretty scary guy...

I assume he took back the squamosa?

take it slow.... As you can see, it took almost 2 years to get to the point I had it before I ripped it apart.

nope - used to have some delayed firing on the MH bulb on the left - but not the PC bulb... That's strange.
The bulbs are all due for replacement in November. You figure it's bulb related, or ballast?
Maybe a quick switcheroo?

I'll make a note of it sir.
I'm wondering when I do get it back together - how that 400W Radium is gonna sqeeze under the hood... Probably isn't, huh?
Plan:
Cut the centerbrace, replace with acrylic
Extend the canopy (from the bottom) - new 6" strip of wood, matching color/trim and a piano hinge and pneumatic door holders on each side.
Spider reflector and the radium center mounted slightly higher than the 175's.
mmmmmm....

Initially, I hope that the heat will be controlled by raising the canopy slightly.
The longer term plan is to have a sump in the garage/crawl space area in the new house. Hopefully, the crawl space cirulation will cool slightly.
I'm definitely not in the market for a chiller - so I"ll be fanning as much as possible and maybe resort to a thermostatic switch to turn off the 400 watter if it goes over 85 or so.
If Mike backs out on the naso - he's yours!

Bummer. You're getting attached to him/her huh? Great personality on that fish - something about the eyes....
Quick question - what was the lead time on the Glasscages tank?
Just found out that they're coming to Greenville on October 30th. I wasn't planning on doing any upgrades, but it's really tempting with the savings on shipping that would give.....
