Tank Progression - 11/02 to 3/04

I was thinking I'd aquascape mostly on the back side of the tank - run a couple 250HQI 10K's on the back 24", my existing retrofit (2X175 and pc's) on the front 24" and put the 400W Radium dead center.
I'm all about recycling. I have that big skimmer that's not being used and I have a couple extra pumps - one of which is 1400 GPH - probably just barely enough for the return pump.
So I'm looking at:
Tank: +/- $1400
Lighting: $600
Closed loop pump: $300
Stand and Canopy supplies: $300
Plumbing: $100
Calcium Reactor: $400
All the other stuff I have. SO, we're looking at about $3k.
Waiter, check please...

already getting my feet back in..
OH - chalk it up to a rio. The 4 month old rio 800 that I replaced on my skimmer worked for a few minutes when I hooked it up on Saturday, it then stopped spinning.
Went to the kitchen sink to clean it out and plugged it into a GFCI - tripped immediately.....
:mad:
I guess I'll just add my name to the long list of Rio haters.
