Home water filter here is a potential problem as it may not be removing all of the dissolved solids from your water. Can you test for phosphate and have you tested for nitrate recently?
Nitrate was at 10 this morning. haven't tested Phosphate yet.
I really do appreciate the help tho, as im sure many of you pointed out already i just don't have a good understanding for this hobby
it will come with time

Just got home and ran to check on da fishies!
Everything is clear now and they seem to be happy. I wanted to share some pictures. I also included my puffer from my other tank.
MR Bigglesworth ( Begger this one )

Also wanted to post a better picture my Mr Foxface happy and begging for food

And my Softball size hermit crab named Claw

Do you think there is enough live rock in the second picture?
Whats the rule of thumb on that?

Something that will help keep your pH constant at night is adding a fuge with macro algae and leaving the fuge lights on at night, on a reverse cycle. Fuge light off during day and on at night, when your DT lights go off.

With that said, What would be involved in creating a fuge? I currently have a Wet/Dry and Fuval 305 but im willing to change. Can i build one myself?

You already have a start with the wetdry. Can you show us a picture of it so we can tell you how to proceed?

A fuge is nothing more than a compartment in your sump that houses some small live rock pieces and some macro algae, with a regular light on top. You can use on of those cheap spot lights you buy at Lowes for $10. You want some good flow through it though.
