RO/DI
"Would you use sea water for regular water changes?"
Absolutely, if it were taken from an unpoluted area off shore.

The guy in my LFS does it all the time. He has a van with a 1000(?)gallon container and drives 15 min, fills the tank and uses the water in his shop. I live in northern Greece and sea pollution is not an issue, but how can I be certain?

I would not use sea water because is has not gone through a filtering process like tap, ro, or distilled water. There are pollutents from water close to shore. As for treating tap water I would use a chlorine remover without aloe. Aloe causes a film and bubbling in the water.
