I would be bitter and angry if my name was MiaHeatLvr too. I look for D Wade to be elsewhere with a decent franchise that can at least sell out a playoff game next year, he will stay out East though, he doesn't want to play in the "real NBA" out West, he enjoys making the playoffs with a .500 record.

Anybody whom doesn't think this kid should have been tazed has obviously forgotten the Tom Gamboa incident. It's not really the job of the "law enforcement" person to interpret their intentions, or weather they are on drugs or drunk. Their job is to end the "threat".

I didn't see it but I remember the story about an idiot who ran on the football field and grabbed the ball. All the players stood there kind of shocked, except one, who knocked the guy out. I think I would have rather been zapped.

I would rather get tasered than pepper sprayed any day of the week.

They receive tons of training that involves assessing levels of threat and pairing said threat with matching force. They have to assess levels of threat everyday and react appropriately, or else I would be getting zapped for jaywalking.

+1 to the tazer. I got peppered trying to stop a shoplifter when I was a bag boy at a grocery store. I had no buiness trying to stop her but she was an old lady and i just grabed her bad of charcoal that she was stealing and got some H A R D C O R E pepper. it really messed me up for a while. I think the pic of the kid with the cop right behind him is hilarious though.
Epic fail in 3...2...1..

I like the actions taken because it will stem the problem. This wasn't some minor league grapefruit game. This was a premier-sport, Major League game. The last thing I would want is for sports to have station security guards every 5 feet to prevent people from going onto the field. It's the fact that I'd like to know I could run out onto the field. A sense that everyone is responsible they don't need bar
ire fence between the fans and the field. One too many of these morons, will change that.
The tazer quickly solved the problem. It was brutally apparent none of the guards could get the kid, but the tazer could. Having the kid running out on the for 15mins is only going to provoke more morons to go out on the field. The fact he was stopped cold by tazer, hopefully will prevent other idiots from copycatting.

oh and btw, I think the taser was appropriate. He was running for ever, many people chasing him. NO ONE knew his intentions. Acid, knife, granade. Seriously........I remember a tennis player got STABBED, could have been killed. These people are attention hounds at best, but these days people are crazy enough to do anything. Thousands of lives depend on the actions of security.

I would hardly compare jaywalking to what this kid did. They don't throw you in jail for jaywalking.
Nobody knew what his intentions were, that's the bottom line.
