yeah game was great. They stepped it up big time 2nd hlaf. Def the most exciting game by far. Full of highlights. Ive been watching to much Olympics lol.. ive had 3 hours of sleep since it started!
And after watching the Spain and Greece game, there no doubt in my mind we will win gold if USA comes to play. Spain and greece is who they said will come in 2nd and 3rd

right on brother! you also cant count out how long the season is. I mean cmon they are playing 162 games with only 1 day off every 2 weeks or so.

Wade looks pretty good... this will help him be ready for the upcoming season.. Lebron is making that team go...
What I don't understand is the "LeBronze" thing.
The 2004 team was poorly put together and players like Anthony, Wade, and Lebron played very little on that team... and the only reason was because they were Rookies... It was a bad coaching move by Larry Brown with his rotation being about NBA veterans and not actual play/performance.. AI played his heart out in that game they lost- I felt bad for him.

Yea, but the games are not that physically demanding... They excert far less energy than other sports such as football or basketball. Thats why you routinely will have players in mid to late 30's and 40's... this is very rare in the other sports... Anybody can't shoot hoops on a professional level. I mean think about it.... the majortity of action at a baseball game involves people standing aroung or sitting.

This whole "my sport is better then your sport" pissing match is rather annoying. If you really need to talk about your sport, fine start a new thread and talk about it there. I'm a fan of a lot of sports, and everyone has their own pros/cons. No point mentioning the same things over and over again.

Thank you! How many MLB players would be able to run up and down the court for 12 mins? and 45 mins a night? Not downing baseball but it doesnt take near as much athletic ability to play as other sports.
Newayz USA vs ANGOA game will be a blowout. Id give us a 40+ point win. Since German beat em by 29.. Last 3 games should be good though. Greece, then Spain and then Germany!

You should see how much baseball players run. Before you start making claims like that. There is a difference between athletic ability and actual skill, anyone can run up and down a court, their is only a select handful that can throw or hit a baseball...

only a seclet few that can throw. Ive watched baseball games and they dont run to much in a game. More standing around with some dip in their mouth...

That was a pretty good beat down there. I give Coach K a heck of a lot of credit, he has instilled a "Defense First" mentality. The intense D is leading to great opportunities on offense. I also agree with Doug Collins the other day, Lebron as been the "face of the team" and the leader. He may still have some blaring weakness' (free throws and outside shot), but the gap is narrowing between he and Kobe for the best player in the world.

The gap isnt even close when comparing Kobe to Lebron. Kobe is on a whole dif level than Lebron. Lebron is the 2nd best player in the world, but not to close to kobe. When u mention Kobe u have some ppl saying hes better than Jordan was now. And if he would have won that championship last yr he def would had more arugments about it. Me I feel he is better than Jordan IMO

. Im not gonan lie Jordan was the greatest of all time, but when Kobe hangs it up itll be close. Pending on what Kobe does his last yrs in the leaguge.
I just hate to hear Lebron comparted to Kobe and Jordan!
