Tentacles

Well I left for 5 days for Christmas. To my surprise when I got home my live rock sprouted a bunch of these tentacles. They definitely weren't there when I left. They move on their own and they don't seem to bug anyone in the tank. Anyone know what they are?

I have a rock that must have 1000 little tiny brittle stars inside of it, sometimes you'd think the rock was a big ball of yarn. That'd be my guess, some of the micro brittle stars.

I don't think they are brittle stars... they look like they are attached to the rock and not coming out of it. Think they could be sponges of some type?

Nope. Got a picture? Could be a Brittlestar or a sessile Cucumber.
