Don't tell me it doesn't exist.

If ANYONE told you one day one of these guys would be a billionaire, you would have laughed.

Being a little stereotypical there? I honestly don't have a clue who these individuals are, but it sounds like you're saying that because they appear to be your typical looking "Black gangsta types" living in some poverty stricken part of the country, they obviously have no education or talent that would allow them to become billionaires. We all know those "livin' in the hood" only live off our Welfare and your tax dollars... Just sayin....

Statistics show that as factual. Cities with the highest rate of low income and minorities are prone to more criminal activity.

When Dre found her at a record release party shortly after the interview, he "picked her up" and "began slamming her face and the right side of her body repeatedly against a wall near the stairway" as his bodyguard held off the crowd. After Dre tried and failed to throw her down the stairs, he began kicking her in the ribs before chasing her into the women's bathroom and donkey punching her a few times for good measure.

And your point? Here we go again. This is your MO on this forum:

Let's start a controversial thread with cryptic undertones, then pull my childish little "bait and hook" scheme where I dangle this topic hoping someone (wink, wink) will "take the bait" and respond with a condescending and objective retort. Then I'll deflect and postulate with "where/when did I say that?", or "you claim I meant this".. BUT WAIT, YOU SAID THIS... All the while denying what your true intentions of why you started this pointless tripe to begin with.

Yet again, what's your point? Instead of posting a picture of five Black guys wearing Mr.T gold chain kits, wincing at the thought that even "they" could end up being billionaires one day, why not preface the picture with who this "gangsta rap" group is so it doesn't appear you're being some bigot who has a problem with those that came out of the world of poverty making millions off of what some people in this country consider music?

One more time - WHAT'S YOUR POINT? Now you're implying that all billionaire rappers are violent women beaters? Might have a valid argument there depending on which one of these rappers you're talking about. But you could also say the same thing about some of these white Rockers, Head Bangers, and Heavy Metal types that have been known to beat their wives, girlfriends, or roadies (Tommy Lee as one example). What's the difference between these guys and some of these idiotic TV reality stars i.e. Jersey Shore (I recall Snookie getting cold-cocked by that other moronic guy in the bar)? My point being, quit cherry picking specific groups (especially when you're targeting minorities) when there's similar types "on the other side of the fence" that could be used to justify whatever warped and convoluted point you're trying to make. Otherwise you're just validating what people say about Conservatives.

We did the same thing in N. Minneapolis and east st. Paul. Gangsta rap was huge! I left my metal roots and was in that scene for a while. Everyone new music was a way to make mo ey and rap was very huge and exploding. But one would have never thought it could have been turned into a billion dollar enterprise. Dre is a true entrepenuer. Take a skil. Make some money. Fu d others to make you more money then create a product with brand recognition and huge sales. Walla, in steps apple and offers you 3.2 billion dollars for your company that is primarily based off headphone sales. Headphones have been arou d for decades, but to sell a head phone company for that much is damn impressive.

He faded out too soon. Blew through much of the money. Some people are just born with minds for capitalizing on opportunity. It isn't always about your education, it's about having a passion and the fortitude go after it. That's what America is about. The land of opportunity, where a poor person has a chance to rise above his/her circumstances. It won't happen if you carry the victim mentality because nobody is going to hand it to you in this world.

That was a great investment.

McCartney is a Billionaire. Lennon's estate is probably too but that's because of Yoko, she's a good investor. Some of the reasons some of those artists aren't filthy rich is the contracts back in the day weren't nearly as lucrative as they've been in the last 25 years or so. That and blowing it all on drugs and paying for destroyed hotel rooms. When I was a kid my older brothers introduced me to stuff like The Stones, early Leon Russel, Credence, Sabbath, The Doors etc. So while I was listening to the Beatles like everyone else I was also getting into more hard core rock. I was thankfully set in my ways by the time Rap came out, but Run DMC was kinda cool.

Actually that is a misconception about mccartney. This explains it pretty good.
