You did an awesome job azfishgal. You had right about 50% success rate, so thats not too bad for the first time attempting this. Just think you should get a better mortality rate with each attempt so maybe you could end up with more the next time! Keep up the good work, oh yeah and I love your tank by the way, its amazing!

Wow that was awsome! I just read that begining to end great job! I have a new found "like" for the cardinals, my wife loves them and I was always just like "whatever". Im a little less "whatever" and kinda "wow cool" now. Thanks for the great read.

Thanks. And you are not alone, most people have a "whatever" attitude about Cardinals, but once you own one you realize how much personality these beautiful fish really have. I will always have a pair in my DT. And the babies, well....it goes with out saying they are the cutest little buggers.

These will be the last pics of my babies. They are 15 weeks old now, and 6 have already left the nest and doing very well. Another will be leaving later tonight. It's kind of sad to see the tank become more empty with each pick up.
The new owner's seem very nice though, so I know they will be well taken care of.
Well, here they are...for the last time.

Ya, I think that is my favorite pic out of all of them.

Baby Clowns?!
If anyone has babies in my DT again they are on their own. I've cleaned up my BBS hatchery kits and I'm done........for a while anyway.

Just gonna let you know, my male finally got his part right.
I've only got 5 of them, as he spat them out either while I was on vacation, or just after getting back. I found them scattered throughout my system .Was able to save these 5. They are in my fuge where they can hunt and feed on plankton to their hearts content. Currently they are eating enriched cyclopeeze and tearign it up. I think they are 18 days old today. Time will tell.
