IMHO,
Cerianthus sp. have been given a bad rap for several years. i've had our specimen for several years BC (Before Cranberry
), and never had any problem or even near misses concerning live fish or inverts being eaten. they are NPS, and so need to be fed meaty foods, which can consist of smaller, prepared items such as mysis and BS, as well as small bits of shrimp, fish, etc.
the bottom line is, i've found that if you have a healthy specimen, they're pretty darned "bulletproof" and hardy. when i acquired our specimen, there were pinks and whites available as well, all with the neon green centers. in retrospect, close to 10 years later, i wish i'd have gotten one of each color.
more pix as they progress, please!
