Nope. Was it a 5 minute documentary? A 3 day mini series documentary? I myself watched a one hour show about some people who did not believe we went to the moon. Why did I watch it? Well it never hurts to hear what other people are saying. I did not watch it seeing if these guys could convince me.
Plus how old is the gluers kid? You also have to know how to speak kid. To some kids and some age kids a puppet show can be a documentary. (No offense to Steely and his kid, but before we hang these people from the nearest tree I think we need some more facts.)
Regardless of the intent, this was the outcome...
"My daughter came home from school the other day and told us they had a documentry on how NASA didnt goto the moon."

I really think it depends in what context the video was shown. If its a bunch of 1'st grades yeah, they probably shouldnt show them a video like that since they pretty much believe everything that is told to them, and havent yet learned to question things. And when they do you can tell them anything and they take your word for it.
If its High School kids I think its perfectly fine. It does kinda teach kids to be free thinkers. Kids do need to learn about other peoples opinions, and how others see the world.
I dont know, I wouldnt be upset at all.

I think i'm going to surprise a few people...
based on the documentary from a while ago (what 10 years? now) and all the things that make you go HMMMM with the video/pics etc, i truly feel we only went to the moon on a TV stage. There's a LOT of weird stuff that just cannot be explained...
the cross hairs on the pictures in the forground of all the pics, but some pics have the cross hairs behind an image
the flag waving in the wind
the same dunes in different videos, but supposedly different directions
the radiation belt that would have fried any human going through it (even with today's technology)
the radiation on the moon would have fried any photography film
etc
I ask people this: if we've been there, why haven't we returned. Why can't we see the lunar landing equipment we left? Hubble should be able to pick it up, why don't they do it to prove the landing?
i believe it was a huge cold war propeganda USA feel good story to keep nasa funded. we had to do something first.
look at this pic: why is the wind blowing the flag?

ok I admit some of those things are weird, but your main point you bring up is the flag in the wind...which imo is the stupidest point that anyone could bring up (no offense)
Theres been several pictures of the flag ive seen, all of them have a rod running along the top of the flag to support it. I clearly see the top of the flag is perfectly straight, meaning something wouldve had to support it, even on the moon. Now if we really went to space, the whole flag would probally weight several ounces, when they unfolded the flag, it would take a while for the flag to uncrease and appear straight...I would imagine it would be something like settling sand, maybe not as slow.
If you dont beleive me... unfold a flag, even with full gravity it still doesnt completly unfold perfectly flat.
and if you say this was filmed indoors, theres no wind that would blow the flag anyways, so why is it just kindof hovering in that position?
Here is my reason for beleiving we went to the moon, maybe I am just falling in their trap, but this is what I beleive.
If it was fake on a designed set, I would expect to see a blast crater when it landed, I would expect to see many stars in the night sky...those are just 2 that come right to the top of my head. Now, I do not think that anyone in nasa is that friggen stupid where they would forget to add some things that people would expect to see.
Why would they leave out stars if it was faked, when people who didnt understand would expect to see stars.
Now you may agree with that or not, but if you at least understand what I am saying please admit that, even if you are gonna dissagree.
and if youve seen the picture of the rock with a C on it, I dont know about you, but to me it doesnt appear as if the C follows the curvature of the rock, just my opinion. It looks as like what the nasa people try to explain, how the picture was photocopied and something go caught in there...who knows...maybe im wrong, but its just my opinion.

it's not that the flag is out straight, its blowing in the wind. there's no wind in space... most of the dune pictures were supposedly done out in some desert, that's where the wind would have come from...

if they went to space they probally had the flag crinkled up in some corner, or unfolded, so when they set it up in space it didnt unfold instantly, giving it the appearance that it was blowing
of course if it was really staged then the wind explains it whatever side your on, there are facts that go every way
in space it would appear like that because of low gravity
on earth it would appear like that if wind blew by
both are facts, therefor it doesnt prove anything

Eh, they probably don't teach stuff like that anymore, but Challenger made a huge impression on my life because I was in grade school at the time. That was still back when the work of astronauts and the launching of shuttles was still an amazing thing that made the news. Now many kids haven't even seen film or photos of a launch.
I don't think the film making technology was around to make such unbelievable footage of a Apollo Saturn V moon rocket at launch.
I think that we, as Americans, have lost a lot of what sent us to the moon and got us home too. Pride, ingenuity, dreams...now it is more cool to be a pessimist, a conspiracy advocate and a believer in doom.
I can still remember when it happened. I was sitting in 3rd grade at the front of the class, right by the TV, watching the whole thing live.... very sad....
I had, for most of my youth, wanted to be an astronaut. I even tried to get my parents to send me to space camp (they where very close to doing it, too).

Also that flag had an aluminum bar going through the top of it length wise in order for it to stay unfurled. They showed that when an astronaut touched or adjusted the pole the top bar would continue moving for awhile and give the appearance of the flag "blowing" in a breeze.
It was actually a pretty flimzy set up.

reno, do a little research. all of that stuff is easily refuted
http://www.braeunig.us/space/hoax.htm
one person refuting another is not "research". i've seen that site before, and his explanations are decent.
but i ask again, why can't we get an image of the items left there from anyone but NASA. We can see black holes with Hubbel, we can see galaxies far far away with regular telescopes, but one simple view of the moon to put people's minds to ease is not doable?

the hubble can only zoom in objects on the moon that are no smaller than 300 feet. the longest dimension of any apollo equipment left on the moon is the landing gear of the LM which has a diagonal of something like 32 feet.
this site is excellent

Look up the latest X Prizes. One of them is for landing on the moon and finding the Apollo remains. There are people working on it already. That should be interesting.

why do you need proof of the landing gear? there is proof everyday, the other apollo missions set up laser reflection devices that are used everyday by earth-lasers, to calculate the distance of the earth and the moon to within one inch accuracy.
or were those put those put their by robots?

They did not. The pictures were taken in a moroccan desert and the flag was loaded with hairdpry. Jimmy hoffa is alive. Elvis is alive. Sadam hussein is alive. Bin laden is dead. Castro is dead. MArs rovers have found aliens. sputnik was captured by aliens.
