How long do you think it will take before he realizes they forgot to ship the key?

I know someone that had that happen with a Jet ski. They arranged to have it delivered to lake Havasu where they were vacationing. Got to the marina, signed for everything and didn't think about the key until the guy was already gone. Luckily he stopped for gas and found the keys in his pocket. If not they would have had to chase him all the way back to California.

Hold on...from a business owner stand point...I disagree with much of the premise here.
1. The decided to ship it to you for free...no added cost on your part.
2. came wrong color. They corrected this issue. sometimes people act human. Not the end of the world as long as it gets solved.
3. giving you 2 t shirts for their mistake and 50% off anything else purchased as an add on.....
To me they have compensated for their mistake. People are human....mistakes happen. The mind set such as this is why us smaller guys in business have such a hard time staying in business. Because people see they slightest thing wrong and want a shit load of free or discounted stuff to compensate them. Were you out any added expense? Did the mistake get corrected? seriously...this "I am getting a huge discount mentality" pisses me off. If you were truly unhappy with the transaction you could have cancelled it and done business elsewhere. What if your complaint....ended up costing someone their job. Was the mistake worth someone's job?

Darth.....free shipping was supposed to be included with the purchase....so really they gave us what we were supposed to get with the order..just made it seem like we were getting a deal
YES, they corrected it...so we are good on that one
and we found out you were supposed to get 1 t-shirt with the order...so we are only getting one free
AND you were suppsed to get 30% off any accessories with any order over $199 (DUH we did that) so they were only gonna give 20% more
The biggest issue was the attitude they had......my husband was very disappointed...YES,,he is now over it....BUT the first guy he talked to was very standoffish with him.....and took them 2 days (after the weekend) to get back to him.
REMEMBER, originally we were gonna pick it up in Dallas.....they are the ones that decided to ship it to us

I'm pretty reasonable in the "stuff happens" area but when someone really blows it I demand satisfaction. I got yelled at too many years by unreasonable customers (even though it wasn't my business) to do the same but at the same time the last company I worked for made a habit of doing it wrong and I got caught in the middle more times than I care to think about. Only in field service don't the laws of gravity apply. Crap rolls up hill and down and always landed in my lap.
