yep its been 1yr already. tank is not all grown out like some 1yr tanks as I've been slow to add corals. Had a few issues here and there and a few sps that didn't make it here and there but I'm fairly happy with it right now

see the hitch hiker star. started out like 4" not its like a foot fully extended

No reason not to be happy with that tank, it is a beauty!!
The Stylophora doesn't look like it has had any problem, it is a beautiful colony.

Looks good .....did you get any of those corals from reef chief?
yes I've got several corals in there from Jeff. the selection there is actually too good. Kind of hard to make a selection looking at 100 different frags all at once in front of you.
thanks guys!

That is the cleanest one-year tank I have ever seen
+1 on that ...also like the bare bottom look.. I wish i had gone that route at the begining. Are those a type of mushrooms (red and green 3rd pic down near acans)?

They called blastomusso. Think I spelled it wrong. It's a type of lps

yes blasto wellsi (or something like that) I love em! the only reason I dont have more is because they dont like flow and that spot is the only place I can keep one without excessive flapping around which that one is on the verge of as is. I got my first one a couple years ago. this small frag was like $90 and I sold it for $60. prices have gone a bit since then

thanks Florida joe. trust me it had/has its issues like every other tank. I do manual cleaning, weekly water changes, GFO reactor, carbon/bacteria dosing, small DSB in sump and still plan on another reactor for carbon plus a UV sterilizer. some of this stuff together might even be counter productive but I try to throw the kitchen sink at it.

Jeff Actually just fragged some of those! I went in there yesterday but didn't get any. Even though I really want them. There are like 7 or 8 frags of them.
Nice Tank Stan! I second the clean tank comment!

Not trying to hijack this thread but i have a similar coral but it has a bunch of small heads on it and i was wondering if the heads on it will get as big as the one that you have. Also do they have sweeper tentacle? cause i have a toadstool (neon green tip) that is right next to it and the toadstool has not open in about a week or two.

No sweeper tenticles. Mine are right next zoa and doing just fine. Not sure how a toadstool do tho. Some leathers are sensitive.
