this is one of the reasons i didnt get the SE why are the bulbs different widths, the one on the right is HUGE. how big is it about, looks like its mabye 5 inches wide in picture

ooohhh the 2 bulbs that are closest to us are just old bulbs i had laying around. the big one is a 5500k bulb. I just put those in untill i order the new ones.. the bulbs are all at the same level! the one with the reflector is a 10k XM on and ICECAP 175W ballast.. the rest will be XM 10k's soon enough!

the bulbs are around 9in away from the water and the wood frame is made of 2x2's

can someone please tell me what kind of worms are in those white tubes and if they are harmfull or good to have.. There is a little hair like things sticking of those white tubes!

Lookin good Bigtyguy. thanks for the link. You might not want to get to attached to the damsels. I had some in my aggressive 125 and they had to go. they get to be bullies.

thinking of those damsels the yellow tang set them straight if they start to piss it off. The damsels never even come close to the clown fish!

Please tell me about your plumbing, I can't really tell from the pics. I'm getting ready to start a 75 project and am looking for some ideas. I'll also be building the stand and canopy (thanks for a great thread!).

i just have 1 line running off my pump with a gate valve on it and a shut off and then it goes into my SWD and i have 2 spray jets in the tank... thats it with the standpipe over flow.

just a few more additions.. I lost my plate coral and those polyps for some reason but i bought more today off a friend..Kinda small but still nice for now. I haven't posted in a while but i know i need to buy a new camera because this one just doesn't do the job! anyways i will post more soon!
