To try to keep this a little on subject....I think she is HOT. Is she the best person for the job?? Who knows? This whole race is a loser freakshow anyway this go a round.
As far as alternative fuels...I'm all for it. But I don't believe we should bury our heads in the sand waiting on it. Drill now.
Is it just me, or is it odd how Obama runs his yap promising Alt. Fuels and independence from Oil in 10 years?? IIRC he can only have 8 years in office??
So now the Government will be running free enterprise?? Yea buddy, gotta love that hope and change. Change to Socialism and hoping folks are stupid enough to go along with it.
I believe there was a buried report about Obama's ties to Corn Ethanol companies....money value. 8 years of gearing up his profits and maximising them

What is funny is how Hussain Obama is patting himself on the back promising middle class tax cuts.....just like the ones that mighty Bill Clinton did, when he made the mockery of George H.W. Bush with his "Read my lips" fiasco.
Problem is that after the noodleheads voted in Clinton, he convienently, decided that he couldn't put threw any promised tax cuts....oh...sorry.....you got any young brunette interns?
I agree with this statment as it is proven that Obama is for even more government spending and even higher taxation.
Yeah, we didn't get Clinton's promised middle class tax cuts until W took office

Our biggest problem is the budget deficit. Obama promises to make it ever worse because there aint no way he can increase taxes enough to pay for his promises. McCain has a record of fighting against wasteful spending. Pretty easy choice for me.
I liked the reform party's budget platform. No tax cuts or additional spending until the deficit is retired. Makes perfect sense to me.

And if you guys want to see why Pelosi was so dead set against any additional drilling
By Ian Talley
Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and her husband invested between $50,000 to $100,000 in T. Boone Pickens' Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (CLNE), which stands to benefit from legislation Pelosi favors to boost U.S.-use of natural gas.
Historically, the Speaker and veteran oil man and long-time Republican supporter Pickens would be very odd political bedfellows, but Pelosi's focus on a climate change and clean energy agenda, and Pickens' investments in this sector have fundamentally changed that relationship.
Legal experts say that unless policies promoted by a lawmaker exclusively benefit them, no ethics laws are violated.
"The ethics rules are so incredibly narrow that unless you are pushing or voting for something that will impact only you, it doesn't count as a conflict," said Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said the Pickens investment "does not raise any direct conflict of interest issues," or violate any ethical rules of the House of Representatives.
"The Speaker has been an advocate for increasing our country's energy independence and for renewable energy for years - long before this purchase," Hammill said. He said Pelosi was unavailable to comment directly on the issue.
But the 2007 purchase - listed as stock held by the Speaker's husband, successful financier and businessman Paul Pelosi - gave Pelosi's conservative critics a new line of attack.
"She, and other investors, stand to gain a substantial return on their investment if gasoline prices stay high and municipal, state and even the federal governments start using natural gas as their primary fuel source," wrote Eric Odom, editor of Dontgomovement.com.
The disclosure has been kicked around for several days in the conservative blogosphere: Tate Dwinnell called it the "Pelosi & Pickens Profit Plan."
This year, the Speaker has even more clearly aligned herself to a renewed lawmaker interest in natural gas: she said last week the energy package she plans to unveil in September, "will increase the use of natural gas, which is abundant, clean, and cheap."

Must be nice to vote to increase your own investment......

Learn to think on your own instead of following the rest of the sheep kid.
This has to be one of the most idiotic statements I have seen here in some time! As you pointed out "What did you want me to say? That I'm a black guy?" This has to be one of the most racist and insulting comments on these boards ever. You are coming across more and more as a foreign, child, liberal who watches to much MSNBC and Bill Maher lol. Where and why would you interject an uncalled for comment like that? What lead you to believe that a persons race has had any effect in this thread for a persons ability to conduct an aggressive forum debate. (*(*********************************

I also think it is terrible how she is being criticized for running for office when she has a baby at home that "needs to be taken care of." If it was her husband that was running, no one would have cared that they just had a child. Now THAT is sexism.
As a conservative, I really couldn't care less what her gender is as much as what her positions are on issues. And she hits all the big marks. From her position on environmental issues to gun control and abortion. And imo McCain was playing a little game for Clinton voters. But more importantly he is playing for his base.
