There's a mouse in our apartment!

It ran underneath the electric stove burners and we looked everywhere but can't find it. Are there any mouse-friendly traps? I don't want to kill it, I want to release it.
I'm so freaked out. We have black widow spiders in our bathroom, but the mouse did it.

really? wow. those good ole' blue laws. In KY its illegal to tie a giraffe to a telephone pole (but you can use a chain), in NH you can't take your clothes off for a bath (but if you were a saint wearing a sock counts as being dressed), and in CT it's illegal to have speed bumps (however you can have speed lumps, humps, and elevated crosswalks)

You need a hunting license? Wow. My room mates want to "cook it" out

Yeah the spiders are gross...we have daddy long legs and black widows in the bathroom. But my puppy Pooh Bear would get into any poison so I can't call the landlord.
And no...a spider never ate a mouse, I don't know why someone thought that.
Although I know they can.

as a general rule if you see a mouse it means u have a lot more you dont see. get some traps and after u get your mouse reset and wait for the others. and grab a can of raid for the spiders, there not the most poisonous in the world but it will hurt if they get ya

They only "friendly" traps are more trouble than they're worth. Even the glue based traps keep them stuck until they die of starvation. I'd just get the glue ones or regular ol' "snappers". The ones that snap are at least more human because they'll almost always kill them on impact.

AS someone who has spent 4 days in the hospital from a black widow sting I can only say you need to do something about them. Or your landlord does, the normal stuff you buy does not kill them.

If you don't report the BW spider, they can really become an infestation and everybody in the building will get them. If it hasn't started in your apartment, they may be coming in from adjoining one. Please report it

glue traps are just about as inhumane as you can get.... if they only get one foot in there, they gnaw off their foot...
a nice quick snap!!! break of the neck is the most humane thing you can do.

If you catch it and release it chances are that it will just end up back in your house again.
I'm gonna release in the wooded area across the street...I know it might come back.

No I got box ones and I put peanut butter (they like it better than cheese) in them...the door closes behind them, I check it every hour or so. He'll probably come out at night.

Are you okay?? Whoa. I got spider traps as well...but they're sticky ones. I haven't seen a widow for about a week now.
