people....shaking my head.....it is no different than keeping africans agressive south americans in a tank. I have had over 40 africans in a 55. They bred....were helathy and yes were agressive. I have also seen a red devil take over a tank of south americans and kill everything. At the same time I have seen the complete opposite.....living in harmony with other other fish as long as you provide adequate cover and monitor. The triggers I have are not agressive in the least and spend most of their time playing in the extremely fast current. The thing about this hobby that inspires all of us is the opportunity to see how nature behaves in different situations. Not ALL Clown Triggers will destroy everything. The same as not ALL Red Devils or Aurutus will kill everything.

people say those triggers cant be kept toghether
and they still cant please get rid of them sure there fine now, thats what everybody says until they wake up one morning to find all of their fish dead and torn to peices, so you say you queen and titan are rare, which they are, but why have some great rare fish that will later on a) get way to big and will get stressed and die b) they will tear each other to pieces, i say you ditch the queen and titan but keep the clown and niger withch are more reasonable in a 210 but the clown trigger might still flip out imo

I am most concerned about the niger trigger because how much more docile it is. It is like putting a lamb in with a pack of wolves. :scared:

we're talking to diff fish, two diff habitats, and two very diff sizes, now im no expert on cichlids but dont they get like 3-6"? clown triggers will get 3-6 times bigger and get that much nastier im sure. that titan will get huge, in fact u have a 70 or 80 right? well either way 3 out of the 4 triggers r gonna get waay to big for ur tank, the clowns gonna need more than double the tank uve got. i recorrect my previous statement, 99.99% of the time ur gonna end up w/ a dead tank, and when it happens (sooner than later) ur gonna see we have forewarned u against it. frankly im not sure i believe u, until i see pix i hope if ur lying ull admit it and get this s%$! over w/, and if ur not ur tank doesnt crash...

I'll clarify, I ment less aggressive in the trigger family not all fish. Kind of like how the snowflake is one of the least aggressive eels but is far from a least aggressive fish.

You also are aware that triggers are actually ominvores and require vegetation.
I have owned a Humu Humu and a Blue Throat. I had them before I really knew what I was doing. They were housed with a Volitans Lion. Everything was great for well over a year till one day the Humu snapped and killed the Lion that was 4 times larger than he was. The triggers you are dealing with are known to be even more aggresive than a Humu. Its not a matter of IF they snap, but a matter of WHEN!

This is stupid, why would you buy fish that you know will eventually kill each other and that need a huge tank you don't have. Eventually your going to end up with one fish(the titan, the clown or ,the queen) even if you upgrade to a 210. I could understand if you were new to saltwater fish and mistakenly bought the fish but you new all of this beforehand which is even dumber  . I feel sorry for the fish.

Awesome triggers.I myself am a trigger lover,i wish you all the best of luck. And anyone who says a niger trigger cannot be aggressive is mistaken.I had to get rid of my last Niger trigger because he killed a foxface and terrorized my humu humu.Im planning on buying another once my 500 is up and running, and hoping to find one a bit more docile. My clown trigger i have now is a wuss compared to that niger that i had.He would go straight for the eyes, and eat them out.
I would like to see how long that the Titan and Queen get along, make sure you keep us informed.
Now i do have to agree that your 72 bowfront is just too small for these fish,Triggers IMO are just like Tangs in that they need alot of swimming room. They would fare alot better.I would be looking to upgrade your tank ASAP,just for your fish's sake.

You have some nice Triggers there and the best of luck to you. I would stay away from live food and keep changing the decor every couple weeks.

i'm lovin this comparisons to african cichlids... comparing 5" africans to 20+" triggers is like comparing an earthworm to a cobra, and i had a 55 with about 4 africans in it.. if you consider those mean, do you know what a trigger is?, my africans were the nicest thing in my tank.. and i don't believe you in any way that you kept them in with a red devil... african cichlids get about 5 inches, and red deviles can easily grow 15+'', and eat anything.
triggcity... next are you gunna see how long a pitbull and a chihuahua can live in a cage without food?, you obviously know this is not going to work... just give the fish back and keep one of them, i'd say the queen cause they look the coolest jmo.
