Thinking of a new tank...Lagoon style?????

I'm not familiar with lagoon style tanks. Is it the usual design to put decorations like that around the tank?
And once you've got the design that you like, will you try to secure it with a spray - like a seal or glue?

the next tank i am getting will be like that shallow but with longer length and width this of course will hgappen in 5 years or so wen i move out

I dont think there is any real definition of it.
I just made mine this way. I wanted to simulate an actual lagoon. top down viewing and add a border of beach,grass,trees. So its like a scaled down model of one.

Get a few of those little cocktail umbrellas for the beach.

Clams would be excellent in that visual arena. You got me looking around the house trying to figure where I could do something like that.

yea I am gonna get 1 clam...top down is the most beautiful way to view them.
I still need to do alot of work on the beach..waiting for my trees to come in. I wanna get some small umbrellas and make a really small tiki shack on it to.

Awesome tank!! Was just wondering, what kind of plant is on the top left part of the pic in the seconded pic and on the bottom of the fire fish in pic 5?

i think its called a trumpet horn caluerpa
it doesnt go asexual in the tank like the feather stuff does. but man it groes fast..the stem of it on the one branch grew atleast 1" overnight

that would be awesome...a vacation without ever leaving the house
i have a 150w MH pendant over the tank
