I'm looking as well, I'd like to change my avatar (that damsel went back to the LFS months ago) but not until I can find where to change the "< Damnsel" to something appropriate to the new pic.
Well I can tell you where to go to do that....click on the My Profil tab.....right under your avatar it has a thing to click on if you want to change it.....you can also change some other things there too....BUT I Know there was a user cp ...

Nope, that changes the pic, but I don't see where to change the text. I don't want a pic of a Royal Gramma that still says "Damsel".
I changed the pic and left the description blank, but Damsel remained...so I changed it back..I'll find it soon enough, thanks!

Whoops, we had one permission setting which wasn't quite right. You should not be able to update your user title via your profile. Click on the "My Profile" tab in the header. Then click Edit Community Profile. The User Title field should appear at the top. You may have to log out and log back in again, but it should be all set now. Sorry about that!
For those looking for what was formerly known as the user CP, several of those functions can now be found on your profile. You can edit your public profile there as well as change your account settings (time zone, email preferences, etc). Your subscriptions are accessible on the homepage. If there's something specific you're looking for, ask and hopefully we can point you in the right direction.

Well, it doesn't work quite that easily. Plus, it does not like making the arrow we used to use with a < followed by dashes (posts do not like the dashes either, it interprets 3 dashes as a solid line across the page).

I can make a new User Title with letters only, but when I add the < followed by dashes, it will not display the title at all. I have a title in my Community Profile, note it is missing in posts.

Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the report, Slice. We did some testing to see if we could get <--- in user titles. Looks like a really strange bug! We saw the same problem that you could have a user title show up in your postbit with letters, other symbols, but if it starts with <--- for some reason it disappears. We've filed a bug with our engineering team to have a better look. Sorry about that.

I must say that I do (actually) like the new layout. It's a strange thought, but it's true. I think that it will be much more newb friendly than it was before.

That's the overall. Of course, I will find things that I dislike lol.

Anytime a platform is changed, it takes a while to work out the kinks. I think this transition went very well. From what I've seen so far,
it has beaten the 80/20 rule; much more than 80% of functions seem to work.

If any thread MUST have it's pictures displayed properly, it is this one

Please see to this as time permits, thanks!

I'm elated by this! The picture uploader has never worked well for me before. This new board already has less kinks than the old one.

Some of us, hung stubbornly to ours, even if, the change was made when we had dumb ones! I hate mine but hung on for principal, lol.

Anybody know if there is a way to change the background color? This white is driving me crazy.

I am saddened to post that I just noticed that since the change, my motion avatar isn't moving anymore. I guess I am now free of it and can change with the times!

The greatest improvement for me personally, is the cookies now work properly. My member name and password is now remembered, but most important, my read posts are remembered from my last login.

The old forum went stupid every time I closed my browser.
