LOL well, I think the problem with names comes when different vendors use the same name for what are obviously different corals. It's not like you can put a trademark or copyright on the names. I think this is why you now see the trend for people asking for "lineage" on some of the really high-end SPS, it's the only way to be certain that you are purchasing a frag of the exact coral you are expecting instead of a coral that looks very similar but may not have the same characteristics under all tank conditions.
I guess I use CoralPedia as a reference which at least does not appear to be trying to sell me anything...

That still dose not answer the question of how they are named. I way I think they(who ever found it) saw star wars episode 1 once to many times and named it after his/her fav. then again I could be carzy

Nothing new to report except they are healthy and doing fine. ANd almost tempted to call the bottom ones Darth Maul since the purchased DM are by most everyones opinion Nightmares. Just tempted, don't believe they are though.

New growth appearing. One is about to open and the other getting close. And there is a third that is nubbing and should become a polyp within the next couple weeks.

I will get some pics in the next few days, I have them in a place not good for close-ups right now, but just to let everyone getting these know, the size of the polyps has really enlarged. They were tiny when I got them but they have almost doubled in size so I guess they are not naturally a small paly after all.
