Thoughts on MP20 upgraded to MP40

I see this site online that sells MP40w ES for $379.00 brand new. It is said that they just upgraded MP20's to MP40's. I don't really understand this. Is this a stupid idea to buy them this way or is it safe and good? Help please. They state guaranteed brand new. Thoughts?

you can just contact vortech and ask them for the upgrade, i think theyll give you a discount as well

I don't have the MP20. I have nothing. This is a complete MP20 upgraded to a mp40w ES. Is there any downside to this?

For the few bucks more...I would buy the real MP40......OR....Find one used.....there are a lot out there if you know where to look

Not really a few dollars more though. Its like $70 cheaper x 2 is $140. I'm just wondering if there is any downside to an upgraded MP20? Is it reliable, as powerful etc....

Where in NJ are you? There is a place in PA that has mid week sales and you can buy a new in the box MP40 for about $330 out the door.
