Yeah, I was going to add SPS.. Never had the cash to really do so..
I'm a little hesistant on adding SPS.. I have so many softies in there, and I don't know if I'm experienced enough to keep any SPS.. I don't want to be introducing a coral and having it die.. I should have some montipora in the tank by the end of the year for sure.. I want to start out slow.. I was planning on adding SPS after 3-4 years.. The tank is going to be 2 years old.. We'll see.

Welcome back...nice pics...I've seen them posted on another forum. Looks like the tank has matured and settled in real well.

Elvis your full tank shot is amazing. Very tastefully done and just what Im looking to do in my current project transferring my nano into a 50 breeder.And great shots as well . I have a G3 . What are you using for the macro shots. Are you using a 10x lense or just the macro function. Again kudos on a great setup ! Peter

Thanks NM, it's coming along there. I can't wait to add SPS, but I'm really skeptic on addding it right now.. Still have to wait.. I also will have to wait to get a calcium reactor going.. I won't have time for dosing correctly when the school year comes along..

Nope, no sump or fuge.. I'm thinking of adding a fuge though. I currently have a newly established 10 gallon QT under my tank.. Plans on a sump and fuge aren't any time soon, but definetly when I get SPS and my calcium reactor. ( Which won't be soon ):D

Thanks Pete, I am just using standard macro mode on my G5. If you need any pointers on setting up that 50, let me know. The G3 is a great camera. It's basically the same thing as the G5, just 4.0 mega-pixels.. I was going to go with the G3, but I couldn't find it anywhere, oddly.. I had to settle for the more expensive G5.

You don't use a sump or a fuge? That's cool. Your tank looks really good.
The sump and fuge seem like they are kinda the standard thing. But I guess that everyone's system is different.
