The Batfish and puffer are very negotiable at the time. The Puffer would bite at the fins and I should have known better. However, I still don't think the Batfish would fit in with the others. How many times have you seen a Batfish with an Emperor Angel, Raccoon Butterfly, Achilles Tang, Yellow Tang, Square Box Anthias, Marine Betta, and a Lunare Wrasse? I will probably have more fish than that. It will be an awesome tank but I don't think it is really suited for a BatFish. I do like the Orange-Fin Batfish though. I'm raking my brain for any other cool fish that would work but I'm coming up empty. Would the Parrot work with all of these. I've never had one but I have been told they get pretty mean.

i think the parrot might get too big. the lunare should do good in there, but watch him for any signs of agression or chasing any of your other fish. so you want a cool fish. hmm.......let me think.......hogfish! as puffer will agree hogs are awesome! you could look into a coral(my favorite) or a cuban(also an incredible fish). there is also the red dianas(very tough and sometimes agressive), spanish, and a few others i cant think of now. the coral hog gets to be around 6" and the cuban around 8". both are awesome fish. later, bo

Well, I have been looking into the Hogfish family. I especially like the Cuban and Spanish Hogfish. If they are as friendly as they sound I should definitely try these fish. I have never seen a Diana Hogfigh before. All hogfish sound really cool though. I'll have to get one. Hmmmm...... some of these fish will be totally new experiences for me. Especially the Hogfish. Unfortunately I can't set it up until the reef tank finishes cycling. It should finish in 2 or 3 weeks. Trey, what is your favorite fish? If it would do good in a 180 please tell me. Aw man, I can't wait until this tank is up and running.

A school of Hippo Tangs with a Angel would look awsome. 180 would be great for a group of any Tangs.

How about a decent size Queen Trigger? Maybe a larger Emperor Angel? A Lookdown would be awesome in that tank! A Horn Shark or Bamboo shark would be nice.

I would go with Tangs, Angels, Butterfly, clowns, lunare wrasse, etc. with 180 you can have some fun and spend some money.

Go with the emp angel and you should really consider a school of banner fish. They are awesome and relativly inexpensive. I also think a couple of clown fish and some anemones would break up the monotony a bit. And get a cleaner wrasse. with that many fish itll have plenty to snack on. I envy you by the way.

Seen a bat fish in the LFS the other day and it looked cool. I would have gotten one but it is not reef safe :(

I definately like the Hippo/Regal Tang Idea. Those are the coolest looking fish I have ever seen, I plan to put atleast 2 in my 125. Also, a Naso tang would be pretty sweet too. Then you could throw in a flame angel or two, and then maybe an Emperor or Blue Faced Angel. Add some inverts and you'd have a hell of a tank.
