what are you all using for timers an lights . my knees are getting tired up and down thanks

I have a basic lamp timer, $10 at the hardware store. I have one for my full spectrum lights and one for my blue lights.

I'm paranoid about saltwater shorting circuits so I use the outdoor type with covers.

I agree with the paranoia part. I installed a GFCI outlet and put outlets above the tank, above the lights to plug them into. Of course I fished the electric, wired the outlet, then promptly dropped the whole thing in the tank. Had to go to the store and buy a new one. If I'd been smart I would have had that idea before I set up the tank.
