Why don't you all registure on here and tell us why you haven't registured yet?
There's 1200+ people lurking right now - I'm sure some of you are bursting at the seams with questions and comments - lets hear them!
What could we do on swf.com forums better to make more people join in the conversations??!
Here's a partial answer to your question SnakeBlitz..... I have discovered that some of these "guests" are actually members that are logging in/out so that the rest of us cannot see where they are at. I know of several "very active" members that are playing the game right now. They stay..."logged out" until they are ready to post, but if you post anything that sparks their interest, they will respond lightning fast, then log out instantly. This is cowardly IMO, but just thought I would throw this out there so that you know that not all of those numbers are guests just lurking....rather the same people we corespond with every day, just that some of them want to hide behind the curtain....

BTW...I have so been wanting to say that...

...and so ready to call somebody out, but I will refraim.
Still, I agree that there are many newbie guests out there that need to read this, get up off their cans, sign up, and meet the rest of us....

Hmm, if that is the case, could a mod move this thread to the new hobbyist forum for more replies?
If 90% of those guests are autobots, then at least 120+ people were lurking. But seriously, what could swf.com forums do better to make more people want to join?
Give away some MONEY

Well i have a feeling that there are more people like me. I have reg but i only sign on when i have a reply. I manly use this right now to learn. I feel that i do not have enough experience to post replies on most topics.

you don't necessarily need to post replies on topics, you can start your own and ask questions, as long as they are not stickied or already explained elsewhere.
Take for example, the Nitrogen Cycle, which is explained everywhere on this site, but you still don't understand it. Well, there is no need to just take it for granted, when you really need to understand something, ask for help!

As far as this site goes, i think it's great. The product review idea sounds awesome. However, i think it would be nice (and save a lot of time for everyone) if the search feature was more reliable. I've taken to looking page by page for answers to some of my questions, and i still end up asking sometimes!!!!!!

I agree sure there are threads on your cycle but if there is a part you dont understand ask there are many many people who will explain. Some better than others for term you understand but they will all answer.

I think they should create chat rooms. Much easier to communicate back and forth. A chat room for each forum topic.

Just wondering what the point is on these comments? Not sure I understand the significance or the statements. How do they affect or alter the purpose of these forums? People can't stay looged in at all times (24 hrs a day, 7 days a week). When I was in college I could only stay looged in a few minutes at a time. Some times only a few times a day. I do not see that affect the post on the threads. If it's good advise that is posted than you take it (no matter from who it came). If it's bad advise you do not follow it (once again, n matter who it came from). You lear about the people posting here from the advise they post (if it makes sence or not), not by how long they are looged during the day. Just my opinion though, like everyone else who post here.

I extreme agree with this. This would give you the oprtunity to interact better with the members. This would seperate the members that are constantly logged in from the ones that ppp in and out.

This is a good example for the nead of a chat room. The "nitrogen cycle" is a very common asked question. The forum could serve to answear a specific question. Where the chat room will allow for a continuos dialouge about the subject.

Exactly! Lets all start e-mailing the SWF team! Anyone know their e-mail?

Hey, I have an idea - I've always wanted to do product reviews because I've used a lot of equipment. How about a product review section? So, if someone wants to know how a seaclone 100 performs, someone can direct them to that thread in the specific forum.
Great idea IMO
thanks good one
