Roll it like a cigarette and clip it length wise, this way he cant rip it at the base and the roll part keeps together.

Place the powerhead and algae clip at different spots. Don't feed as much algae.

i am lucky if i can even get the nori on the clip before the fish attack it.i had my blue throat trigger bite me once.i pulled my hand out and he came with it.hit the floor

How big do you think minimum for a Vlamingii?

the probem with any tang is space.i have 4 in my 250 and they use every inch of it.i would say 150 minimum for a tang.sure you can keep them in a 90 but they wont be happy

Is a 180 too small for an adult Vlamingii? I may upgrade to a big tank in the future.

So, i have a question:
So far, so good with the YT. he eats good, green and red seaweed alternating per day, with selcon driped into it aswell. Im jsut wondering if its time for me to take him out and put him in my DT. CUC arived yesterday, and sofar in the tank is my eel and 3 tiny cromis. 0amm 0 nitrite 15-20 nitrate ( still doing larger wc's to bring this down, my fuzzy chiton isnt a fan of the elivated nitrate level...) Any ways, so far the tang looks great, and the hlle is looking better too. im still seeing some redness above his eye, but its looking better. im wondering if its doing more harm then good keeping him in a 20g QT? like i said, no ick so far, and i feel kinda bad keeping him in the small tank.. ( not much scenery, BB, 2 flowpots for hiding, and nothing else...) also, witht the small volume, im having some salinity swings, so thats my main concern...
Oppinions would be great...
EDIT: ide also like to add he seems more stressed then he should be, im thinking a more 'natural' enviorment in the DT may be better..

Since its been 3 weeks you are good to go. You need to acclimate him to the DT like you did to the QT, but since the water is from your QT you can dump the water into the DT with the tang. Congrats its a Tang.
Need picture of him in his new home once he comes out of hiding.

I don’t know if the two white markings you see on my tang are what you are talking about, but if so I can assure you my tang does not have HLLE. If your sales person could not tell you if the fish had HLLE or not perhaps she is not as knowledgeable as you think
