Fun!
Picked up a sweet Maze Coral and a Fire Shrimp:
http://www.zooxanthellae.com
Maze Coral, Platygyra daedalea acclimating with fire shrimp, Lysmata debelius

Maze Coral, Platygyra daedalea

And a cool snail:

Astraea
sp.
AND...
I also saw my older fire shrimp cleaning my Domino!
Couldn't get a picture though, the fish got spooked when I walked up with the camera. First time I have witnessed this, although he has been cleaning the tang already.

Wax even though your tank is VERY young, I love it!!!! My tank is in my bedroom, and I was wondering if the "crack" they make is loud enough to keep me up all night?!?! How big is your tank?? What do u use for lighting?

It's actually reborn, courtesy of Hurricane Katrina.

The shrimp popped for the first time yesterday and it made me jump. I think if he did it when I was sleeping I would wake up with a pounding heart.
The tank is 70 gallons and I use a Giesemann 250w metal halide pendant.

Are there any special needs a maze brain needs besides lighting and water quality??
I mean like do you need to feed it? Or anything like that?

Not really, they will capture nutrients from the water column. I have heard of ppl target feeding them with cyclop-eeze though.

Here is a picture of an Electric Blue-Knuckled Hermit bullying a Dwarf Red Tip Hermit:
http://www.zooxanthellae.com
Calcinus elegans vs. Clibanarius sp.
And here is a picture of the snail I'm not to sure about, he was right up near my Maze Coral after lights out, around 9 PM.

Maze Coral, Platygyra daedalea
and the (maybe) bad snail
Worried me, but I decided to let him be. At 5 this morning the snail was still chilling next to the coral. This afternoon he is still just chilling there. It is not touching the coral itself, just the rock near it.
