You guys are right we shouldnt start calling him Troy. I think we should start calling him Roger.
This guy is awesome and if you arent able to see that you are obviously blind , Top ranked passer in the NFC , JUMP started a team that was all but done for with Bloodsuck in, ONLY .5 points away from being the top rated passer in the league. Has not made stupid mistakes with the football since Starting games ..... :cheer: :jumping:

I am just going to say this once. I don't mind football discussions, but once a personal attack is thrown out, calling someone an idiot, unintelligent, stupid, etc., the thread will be shutdown.

Im not saying he will be as good or as successful BUT Romo sure reminds me alot of Brady when he became the starter. He very well may do horrible the rest of the way but he certainly looks like he is going to be special.
Either way, we will POUND the pathetic Bucs on Thursday and that will put Romo one step closer to the playoffs. Then we can see if he will be special or a flash in the pan.

Then how bout warning the people who are doing it rather than ignoring it and deleting the thread. Exactly how many COWBOY threads are you going to let the same 2-3 haters ruin?

you play fantasy oceanists? Did you get affected by the McNabb scoring change last week?
I was 5-4(after starting 5-1) and playing the 9-0 team(he has McNabb) whose owner we all hate with a passion. He was killing me all day and talking all kinds of smack on our website. The Bears D got me back in it with the 108 yard return sunday night. Monday night i came back and won by 1point on the late Steve Smith TD. The whole league was rejoicing that he wouldnt go undefeated and that i beat him. Tons of posts by me and everyone else about my great victory then came Friday! Got a call from our commish about the scoring change and because of the new 55 yard McNabb TD the 9-0 team actually beat me by 8 points instead of losing by 1  Needless to say, me and the rest of the league had to take 6 days of abuse from the other owner who now looks like hes going to go undefeated.
Luckily, i won this week and will still probably be the 3 seed in our playoffs thanks to the Bears defense.

I'd love to see the Bears trade grossman and our number 1 pick for 2007 for Romo!
I think he and Rivers are the two top notch young QBs.

I'd agree. Romo has a ton of weapons so that has helped alot but he does have a weak o-line. What he has done with that line has been VERY impressive. Like i said, it is very similar to what Brady did.
I didnt think Rivers would be this good(thats why i took Alexander instead of LT #2 in fantasy  ) and they were insane to let Brees go. It looks like it has paid off. SD's front office is amazing!!! They took UNBELIEVABLE heat for not taking Vick but got LT, Brees and i believe Kaeding in that trade. Then they again took a TON of heat for passing on Manning but got Rivers and a bunch of picks. LT is better than Vick and Manning combined will ever be. They had a lot of guts passing on those "franchise" QB's but they have a great future now because of it

Yeah that change was ridiculous , Im just happy he is done for the year. that takes one team out of the playoff picture, Garcia isnt going to do much damage

Yeah I dont think anybody that we play for the rest of the season has a chance against us. First its the Bucs who we should beat, then after 1 week and a half rest we get the declining Giants who are torn apart with injuries on defense and looked pathetic last night. Then we have the declining Saints who we wont have a problem with if they couldnt deal with Ocho Cinco they will have hug problems with TO TG Hurd and Crayton havenbt seen them stop the running game this year ... then we have the Falcons who repetedly shoot themselves in the foot and have huge injuries on D cant throw the ball well... Philly without Mcnabb *smirk* and the the Ligers I mean Lions.

To set the record sraight, the Chargers acquired Tomlison, Tay Cody and Reche Caldwell with the draft choices received in the Vick deal. Brees was a second round choice that year and NOT part of the Vick trade. Kaeding was aquired with the Manning deal along with Rivers and Merriman I beleive.
Manning led his team to the playoffs his second year and currently has the Giants in first place by way of the tiebreaker.
Vick also has gotten his team to the playoffs in the past.
Rivers and Romo have yet to achieve anything regarding playoffs.
L.T. is arguably the best running back in the nfl today. Vick and Manning both have proved they make their team better and so has L.T.
Rivers and Romo? Too early to tell for either...although Rivers has shown he can bring his team back from double digit defecits in the second half ...which is tough to do on a consistent basis in the nfl....unless you are "special".

THese types of games are often "trap" games in the nfl. There are no easy games....that's why they play em. It would not surprise me if the Bucs give Dallas a tough game....they will not roll over an play dead.
Dallas may have a let down......I expect it but it still may not be enough to lose to the Bucs.
it will most likely be a close game.

And those are my better qualities....

Manning does not have his team in first place. The giants are in first place DESPITE Manning because they have a great defense and Tiki. Manning is at best a marginal starter in the NFL despite his pedigree. Manning has struggled in great weather so far, when the weather and wind gets bad at home, he will cost the giants the playoffs unless their defense plays INSANE. If his last name was anything else, theyd be talking about benching him
If SD got Rivers , Kaeding AND MERRIMAN(probably the best defensive player in the game already!) then that was the 2nd best trade in NFL history
Rivers is better than Eli right now and I wouldnt trade Merriman or LT for Eli and every pick NY has in the next 2 years. I cant believe that you or anyone else would rather have Vick than LT, even straight up, not possible. 2 AMAZING trades for SD!
p.s.- nice defense Scubadoo
