He is trying to do too much with his arm. He does not have the talent he needs and he is forcing too much. You still have to admire that string of consecutive starts. he reminds me of the throw back days when players simply taped and asprin on an injury and continued to play. Unlike the bonus babies of today.....guys seemed to be tougher way back when..or maybe they were just stupid....

My comment regarding talent.....I was referring to GB offense in general and not Favre in general.
I recall watching Favre play at USM when they played Tulane. he did not appear to be anything special. I wonder if Atlanta regrets letting him go? I beleive he was drafted by the Falcons. I also recall he led the league in TO's one year ealry in his career with GB...intercpetion and fumbles.
He certianly has come a long way from his days at Southern Miss.
I know his family was hit hard by Katrina as Kiln, MS is just norht of ground zero where Katrina came onshore. I bebleive he could not contact his mom for a few days.
The MS Guld coast certianly was hit hard. On a recent visit back home, from just south of NO to the MS/AL state line....devastation. It is heartbreaking to see all those civil war era homes on the MS Gulf Coast washed away.

If anyone is interested, here are some katrina damage pics we took on a May/June trip back to New Orleans. Sorry for the quality on some...I was not the pic taker....and mine would be even of poorer quality. We snapped a pic of the Superdome...but you have to look real close to see the crew working on the roof.
