Thanks, its a nudi. I think it died. Im not sure. My angel has eaten almost all of the algea in the tank. Ive tried nori, should I buy the real seaweed at the petstore?

Looking good, I like the new zoos.
I wouldn't waste the money for seaweed from a fishstore, generally you can get nori in bulk very cheap, also look for Wakame. It is dried up seaweed and when you soak it in fresh water it expands and my tang loves it.

Mabye im not feeding the right stuff. Its made for sushi? I love the pygmy never touches corals. He is always eating algea off the rocks. I can try and get pics but he is scared of the camera.

Yes, the sushi algae sheets are the stuff. If he isn't eating it yet its probably because he is getting enough from the rocks. I use the Wakame which isn't for sushi, its used in soup for us humans (I think) and its a little tougher once in the water so it doesn't fall apart as quickly once in the water.

TRiGa!
What a great tank you have. I am sooo impressed on all the work you have put in, and how you kept a diary the whole way!
Looks like your critters are very happy and social, and your corals look nice and healthy as well!
Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress! any other ideas down the road that you want to add or change? What is on your 'wishlist'?
Thanks for sharing your experience and your tank!

Thanks alot Jessica. Your tank too is a beaut. (Love the mandarin). I plan on only adding more soft corals and some LPS. For fish no more and for inverts a cleaner shrimp. Im looking for corals right now through my LRC and its working pretty well. Im hoping to get some frogspawn, torch, hammer, zoa's,some frilly mushrooms, and some leathers. I have an empty 10 gallon and have been throwing ideas out there about making it a frag tank or a mini reef with like 2 clowns or what not. Im not exactly sure yet but its just some ideas. I think I fell in love with ricordias, they are definatly my favorite coral in the tank. Again thanks for the great comment and have a great day!

Rics were my first coral and at first I hated them because they wouldnt open (I think I had them in an area with too much light) I finally found a great spot and they are doign quite well.
I love the different colors you can get and how the rics always look 'plump' and 'vivid'. Mine even stay partially open at night time! I really want to get one of those hypercolored ones like this:

but ones like that are way expensive! Im partial to the Yumas over the florida ricordea. I think the yuma has more charecter. JMO.
Ive also come to like the tongan lavendar mushrooms. They are about 70 bucks though.
Check them out: they are kinda like rics.

Ok I wont steal your thread anymore! My Rics are on my pic thread. They are the ones with my Nudibranch on top of them. Kinda pinkish colored.
Keep in touch TriGa!
