Maybe you should read the original question . It was how do you keep aggresion down . Not WHAT DOES SLACKJAW DO ? You really should educate your self on the subject because lately you have been coming to the battle of inteligance , Unarmed . Heck just educate your self period . Your spelling and grammer is horrible to say the least and your lack of reputable knowlage is mind numbing . I find it sad that you keep trying to argue your insane logic against proven fact .

After fighting it for quite a while; I've come to agree with the group that thinks feeding live feeders can contribute to trigger aggression. However; triggers are aggressive fish, period. Individual behavior can vary, but to expect a feeding program to reverse their genetic make-up is asking too much, IMO. A varied diet, vitamin supplements lots of room, suitable tankmates, and a watchful eye might help. But any trigger, especially the more aggressive ones (undulated, clown, etc.) can go berserk any time, even after years. Not always....so chose your fish and always be ready to remove one if it comes to that. Its a chance I'm usually willing to take. There is just no sure thing when predicting trigger behavior...which makes them that much more fascinating.

Great point SR!!!!

You cannot take the crazy out of the trigger, you can only hope to keep it away for so long.

Better yet . You can't keep it away for ever but you can do things to encourage your fish to be less aggresive .

Since I cannot PM anyone since I'm new here I'll just go out and ask when you guys say your putting someone on ignore list what does that mean you do not read thier post by choice or they dont show up ? Just wondering. I have in my freezer frozen Krill,Silversides,Squid, and lots of Mysis. I also have many Different types of Pellets So I'll mix it up and hopefully provide them with a nutritional diet. I also sometimes put in some sea veggies once in a while as a snack. It seems that most of you say that feeding the triggers live fedder fish is not being consciencous and will make them more aggresive which is exactly why I made this thread. I want my fish to be as least aggresive as they can be and I would like to think I'm doing the right things.

Sounds like you have the variety of food down. The ignore feature is accessed in your user cp and allows you to decide posters you can ignore. You can see that they post but the text does not show up. Some people seem to post just to cause a stir. With ignore, one can skip their diatribe and stay on point to the post. Nice feature.

Espkh9 you are doing all the right things. Varied food, tank size, research. Sounds like a good start to me.
On the other note, the Ignore function is quite nice. It is in use for me at the moment and think it is great. It does not allow your threads to get thrown off by obvious trolls (people who post just to get a rise out of the thread).
There seems to be a lot more of these people on this site these days. They end up doing more harm than good.
Cant wait to see pics of your trigs.

The ignore feature can be access by clicking on the users name and choose to visit their profile . On the right side of the page there is a feature that allowes you to ignore the user . On the left is an option that allows you to add as a buddy . You can set your preferances so when you do get the privalge of PM's you can set it to only get them from people on your buddies list .
great function . You can see that the person ignored has posted but you can't see their remarks . It really is great for the people that just get on your nerves and you feel they never add anything posative to the conversation (i.e TROLLS)

This may sound off but I am terrible at taking pictures..I tried last night and the flash went on since its auto flash and the picture was of the fish with my reflection in the glass. Then I took some shots and it was too bright. I tried using my cell phone camera but with no flash the pictures came out too blury and dark. So I'm having issues..I'll ask my wife to help she's the picture specialist in the fam.
Thanks.

Folks, please simply use the pm feature to report posts obviously made to stir up trouble. Don't respond... it just gives us more work to do to clean up the thread.

...as to your blenny. Triggers often eat another fish by attacking and eating the gut area first, and are perfectly capable of killing & eating a bigger fish and the remains could be anywhere.; especially when you have 2 triggers.

I don't have my skimmer running now I know it;s important to have it running when you have triggers even if they are tiny, but I am having some problems with it. Will my tank be OK without it for a few weeks ? I have a canister filter by Marineland for a 50 gallon and a HOB filter for 30 gallons in a 65. They are not the best filters but I'm hoping they are adequate.
