Twas the night before New Year's and all thru the chat rooms,
Not a member was posting, not even about shrooms.
This can't be right, I yell out 'yowzer',
Not even a sighting from regular meowzer.
I spring to my chair and search for justification,
Could it be that everyone was banned by Sepulation?
No Obama threads from oscar or reef...not right,
not even a car thread or fish id from AquaKnight.
No off the wall religious post from good ole' Flower,
no cute animal threads from Scotts proclaiming 'puppy power'.
And where are the old folks Spanko, Beth, and Joe?
This can't be happening, say it isn't so.
It's past their bedtimes,
but they usually roll with the flow.
I check for the youngins' such as Alix or Pez,
I search for a football remark from kjr or stdreb.
No Darth, crypt, SCSI, or Bang,
just frozen avatars, all labeled 'yellow tang'.
Then what to my wondering eyes do appear?
A light bulb goes off in my head, please kick me in the rear.
I remember that I hadn't posted in a couple hours or three,
So I obviously forgot to refresh the "NEW POST" key.
I frantically move to make the stroke on a whim,
and BAM, I see posts...there's DragonZim.
I blaze thru the threads as fast as I can,
It's true, it's for real...I haven't been banned...:)
With only hours to go before my party guest arrive,
I struggle with what post I could make...just can't decide.
It finally hits me like a herd of goats....
It's New Year's Eve people, if you are having a party...PUT AWAY THE MAG FLOATS

Wonderful! I have actually done that..forget to refresh. But see you next year??? Your not hanging on this site to usher in the new year?
I for one will not even venture out to go to the store..I am so afraid of drunk drivers. I, like meowzer will be right here.

Yeah, I'll be here....but got a lot of people coming over so might not be on here much until I can get them all out of my house after midnight

That's great. Awesome poetry abounds in the forums tonight. Love the play on words. Sorry I haven't really been on as much as I'd like but morning (all day more like it) sickness has taken over my life lately!!!
Only 4 weeks and 6 days left..... hopefully.

As I sit here and type, the room begins to spin
Could it be all those beers that did me in?
Nah, well that's okay, I knew we did it up right,
oh my, these tank lights sure are bright.
T, that was awesome and wonderful,
