Two Spot Bristletooth Tang...........

After reading the posts in my thread about Yellow Tangs in 55 gallon tanks, I decided to get a Kole Tang.
I had to take back my Flame Angel within 2 days of putting him in the tank because he was such a bully.
I found a store with a Two Spot Bristletooth Tang and asked them to hold it for me until I moved my tank.
I looked it up and read that this fish is in the same family as the Kole and grows the same size. I think he is a wonderful fish with great personality.
Has anyone else had any experience with the Two Spot Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus Binotatus)?
Here is a pic I got off of another website (mine hides when I pull out the camera).

Although not a 2 spot here is his close cousin my yellow eye Kole along with the 3 other idiots (I mean tangs). I love my Kole, loves to swim the length of my tank. All the others don't. They look like they are lined up to eat the "nori".

I posted a pic of mine under your other post.
I have had him for about 4 or 5 months. He had a bout of HLLE and I couldn't figure out the problem forever. It finally went away after I removed all carbon. So I don't know if it is just this type of tang that is sensitive to carbon or what.
He can be a bully, but I really like him. He eats nori and homemade fish food. He also eats calurpa which grows in his tank.

Actually, one of my Ocellaris Clowns is the one trying to pick a fight.
Nothing real bad, but I will be watching closely!
My LMB and the Tang eat off rocks right next to eachother and don't fight. Only time will tell though.........

Also, from what I have read, the Two Spot Bristletooth Tang will do well in a 55 gallon tank.
Do you have any experience with this?

I have never had a 55g but I would not recomend a bristle-tooth in a 55g unless you have alot of healthy rock so it can get enough algea and microfauna because thats primarly where they will be feeding from.....

My Kole chews on the rocks ALL the time more than any other fish I have, BUT also eats flake, prime reef frozen, cyclo-peeze and LOVES nori.

What is nori and cyclo-peeze? :notsure:
My LFS doesn't have either of these.

Does ***** sell this stuff? They are the only other store in a 25 mile radius that has saltwater stuff.

I currently feed dried seaweed sheets, super veggie flakes, and emerald entree.
I also feed spirulina enriched brine shrimp for a snack.

cyclo-peez can be bought dried or frozen. They are very, very small reddish in color shrimp like creatures. All fish eat them and the snails and crabs go crazy when it is put in the tank. I also feed seaweed selects, (nori)

Nori is dried algae sheets. You might find it in the asian section of your supermarket. Also sold at some pet stores by ocean nutrition or two little fishies.
My ***** sells this stuff.
Cyclopseeze can be found frozen, and sometimes freeze dried or in flakes. there is also a company that sells it in a little pump bottle. Sorry I am at a loss for brand names right now.
If you have an asian market near you that is even better. Nori is cheap there. You might also find actuall dried seaweed there too, I believe it is used for making soups.
btw nori is used for making sushi, just fyi. If that helps you to find it.

TX, bump for ya. I could not get to the post office as I was awaiting a fish shipment arrival. I hate delivery companies. I will keep you posted. Barry
