thanks I can tell they're competing for dominance...one is being really defensive when the other clown tries to get in the anemone lol
hopefully they'll straighten out though
Finally put my LEDs in and here are some pics LED fixture (6 3 Watt Cree Bulbs) (14 high end bulbs) atenics alone (sorry for the poor camera quality, it really looks AWESOME in person and really makes the colors pop) white and blue on
I was expecting my coral to not open up for the first couple days that since I introduced the new LEDs at 30% but all the coral is opened up great and better...my anemone for example looks amazing!!!
my plan is to bump it up 5% every week to insure proper acclimation
do you think this ricordea florida is about to split? it looks like its creasing down the middle...its pretty big, especially for a Florida...maybe big enough to split into 4?
I added a pretty cool yellow sps with purple polyp extensions...i'm not sure the name of it but I'll post pics tomorrow when the lights come on
The SPS almost immediatly opened which makes me feel good about my tank
I also got 3 heads of true blue hornets the other day...they're cool
added some duncans, darth maul zoas, and green and purple tip hammer yesterday
and also fragged my 6 headed torch coral into 3 chunks and gave 2 chunks away
here is a pic of my new hammer coral under atinics...I've never seen anything like this honestly, its got yellow branches with purple tips
its only 1 head, but hopefully it'll grow out well worth the price imo
