type of catipillar???

I just noticed a him. He is about 2in long and is green with white little things on both side of him all the way dow his body. Is he ok in my reef system

probably a bristle worm of some sort. These are USUALLY harmless, detritus eaters, good for the sandbed. Keep an eye on it though, just in case.

Sounds like a Nudibranch to me. How long has it been in your tank? Have you observed it eating? Any behavior that you've noticed? Can it move? how?

the little white things are little clusters of thorns and it does move and not sure where he went to now. I am not sure how long he has been in the tank for.
