Watched a video on CNN that showed the parts breakdown of the IPad, and what the estimated cost to Apple was for each part. They calculated that the base Ipad that sells for $499, cost Apple $250 to build. Nice little profit margin for the first week of sales. Aren't they on the fast track to surpass Microsoft in overall sales, or have they done that already?

That's actually not a bad markup when compared to some things we buy.
I want one.... but I NEED the independent interwebz!.... and version 2.

Apple is an amazing company. And they'll sell it to their distributers for 475 bucks I'll bet...

I imagine that you could hold it from the side with your entire hand and carry it under your armpit. As long as you avoid coating it in crisco...

Weird. I've not had any problems, but then again, I live in a small house so That could br why. I did notice limited connection at the office, but it's kind of spotty anyway... Even on my laptop.
