Unexpected Find!

Was cleaning my Nano and found this elusive guest!
Saw this thing drop out of a rock and I just thought it was a big
copepod or something.
Here is what I found!

Oh, ok. In that case, nice hitchhiker! I love them, but I won't be getting one anytime soon. I like the fish in my 75 too much...lol. I'll probably buy a nano in a couple of months and make it a species tank.

That is a strange looking critter!! I know I will have a BAAADDD nightmare tonight
When I was 1st told of them I was soooo scared to buy more LR.....

Wow! Great picture. Do you think he has been in there since you established the tank or when was the last time you added some rock? Very cool fine. Even better that you have something to keep him in!

wow those things are too cool. I would have one if I felt like having a second tank. My lfs fed one for me so I could see it eat and he put mysid shrimp in a turkey baster. The mantis shrimp cracked the baster, lol. Good thing you found it in time

Nice find pony. Those are some wicked looking creatures...like something out of a bad cartoon
